Median Household Income and Poverty Rates
Income and poverty data as reported in the 2000 U.S. Census.
Median Household Income: Household income consists of total income received in the prior calendar year by all household members 15 years old and over, tabulated for all households. Median household income figures are derived from the entire distribution of household incomes.
Percent of Persons in Poverty: Percent of persons in poverty in the calendar year prior to the census. Based on persons for whom poverty status is determined.
